I am a huge over-doer of the sock with heels trend...excuse me for having cold (and hideous) tootsies. But for-real kitties, this is such a good choice when you are DY-ING to wear your new summer shoes during spring- or any other non-summer season for that matter, & night-time nipply-ness reminds you why you bought these amazing tie dyed socks in the first place. I have the most silly sock collection- but it is by far one of the easiest ways to spruce up a plain outfit.

Like the trend or not, it is functional! Get yours here!

chilly spring night? throw on a rug!

Shaggy Loop Woven Cape- F21, Linen Grid Button-up- Unknown (Has flaws that I adore!), White Milk Beaded Lariat- Vintage, Black High Waisted Corduroy's- Vintage, Black Boots- Vintage unknown Label

This outfit is full of rejected items I've thrifted or found on the clearance rack & now completely LOVE. I nearly lost my mind when I found the pants- the perfect teeny-tiny flare at the bottom, and the length is almost at high-water status...perfection. Well, to me at least.
The shirt was on clearance and the hem is asymmetrical! This was clearly not on purpose- but it is one of the most beautiful shirts that I own. The buttons are made of shells, and the linen is woven in a grid pattern. Scorrrrrre.
And the boots, I get so many compliments on, when I thought I'd only get maybe a few puzzled faces and/or coins thrown at me to get some new ones. They are scuffed up and perfectly slouched/folded suede, with an awkwardly obtuse rounded toe. They are my version of a Martin Margiela Tabi Boot knock-off...my all time favorite artistic shoe silhouette ever made.

Clearly all of these yummies are........your loss, my gain.

Faux Nudity

Turtleneck (messily) Cropped Sweater- Stolen from BFF who is unaware until now, Nude Bodysuit- AA, Altered Chiffon Skirt circa 1940's- Vintage Gifted, Sterling Choker worn in some photos- Vintage Monet, Goat Hair Palais Mohawk Pumps- YSL, & Palest legs & skin ever photographed-...cant buy these just anywhere, Ladies.

Wore this the other day when it was unexpectedly breezy- so I decided not to let the noonies hang free out of the sweater and be conservative with the leotard (for warmth, not coverage- lets get this straight.) No, really....just kidding.
The real idea was to play around with shapes and also to put a silly spin on such a classic skirt. Definitely got some shocked looks- so hilarious.
Any ideas on how to play with the nude leotard a bit more to FREAK people out? That is seriously my idea of a good sartorial choice, mah' friends.
Have fun with your wardrobe... at least once a week, if not more! Life shouldn't be taken so seriously!
