We LOVE: Nozomi Ishiguro

I do not claim any of these images as my own. Most from Google images & various other sites.

Nozomi Ishiguro started his career as lead designer on three seperate lines for Comme des Garcons and spent 12 years developing his eye for design (I think we'd all agree that this is made very obvious in his design aestethic- tufts of fabric, volume with odd placement, massive amounts of layering etc). In 1998, Ishiguro was given his own line of clothing, and a few years later-his first men's collection was released. He has been launching men & women collections every season since. The brand has had a teensy bit of success- but no where NEAR the amount of coverage he should be receiving....this shit is GEN-IOUS.
Mr. Nozomi- can I have your babies? (By this, I mean, umm, can I trade you my wardrobe in exchange for a closet full of your mens & womens pieces?) Ok, I know that is just ludicrous....give me the pieces above & I will call it even.

Tie me up

Michael Kors SS11

The absolute best substitute for a hair tie...forget all of those really weird "as seen on tv" inventions and "decorative" doo-dads. This is chic, cute, disheveled, & timeless. What do you think? I'm determined to figure it out!

Lazy Uniform

Wearing: Black Velvet circle skirt: vintage, Leather shell structured vest: vintage BB Dakota, Long Sleeved shirt: MMM, Gray sweater tights: unknown, Black lattice detail socks: UO, Black Dany Platforms: Jessica Simpson, Purple earring worn on right ear: vintage

When all else fails, I throw on some darks & BINGO, no more temper tantrums while running around my room thrashing articles of clothing over my head. Not the most special outfit post, but something to keep you occupied. A peek into what it looks like when Im short on time, inspiration, or clean laundry. Some sort of a uniform?
OH...and...I truly do not always look so mean and unhappy in real life...the sun was blinding me- and apparently that causes me to look like your mean 1st grade teacher? I hope I dont cause bad flashbacks for you. :(

These earrings make a boring outfit fun and weird. I especially love wearing just one(as I did here)…it is unexpected & they are always catching glances & compliments. If these earrings were a man, they would have the biggest ego!
The outfit is especially BORING and I apologize for that…and hopefully you dont feel that about ALL of my outfits to come. Also, Hope you enjoyed the pics of my hubby (and my other little man, Walter) in his DIY tee & scarf...he is a DIY kinda man!

Thanks for stopping by dolls! Keep coming back & email me if you'd like!

School Boy Hooker

Unfortunately, Ive realized that this is my "Sunday Best." I guess I never really understood that term...by the look of things. Either that, or I just assumed that it meant 'cover up all body parts', and knowing my usual daily uniform...the hooker chic thang aint werkin' girllllllll. SO! In conclusion, I threw on some leather (yeahhhh), denim(yeah-yeahhhh), velvet (yeahhhhhh-yahh-ye-yeahhhhh), and....platform, lace up, stripper-style Elvira boots (YEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHAAAAAAAA eeeeeep!)
(note: LOVE the way that the fat-controlling top part of my tights are peeking out of the bottom of my shorts in an oh-so-trashy way...dont mind me....)

Wearing: Denim button-up: Forever21, Leather High Waisted Shorts: Forever21, Grid Tights: UO, Jeffrey Campbell Stevie Platform Boots: NastyGal, Quilted Clutch: Forever21, Velour Custom Freestyle Bow-tie: The Cordial Churchman, & Gifted Sterling Silver Bear Claw & Turqouise Charm with various vintage & gifted rings.

Off to drink rum punch, make stuffed veggies, & have family time! Thanks for visiting kitties!

Personal Style Aesthetic

The older I get, the more I have come to realize what I tend to linger towards when buying pieces of my wardrobe. I always had an extremely hard time answering the question “How would you describe your personal style?” I think, well, this may change, but, um, lets just say ! Lately, I have been gravitating towards anything Sexy, Lingerie inspired pieces (or just plain lingerie), Girly, or Frilly and never seem to fail to mix it with anything that is Roughed up, Grunge-ish, Aged, Distressed (the more, the better), ill-fitting, or…UGLY.
Sounds odd, but, I guess it…works? I try my best to find a happy medium between the two extremes, throw them on, look in the mirror, and waltz my way out the door. Sometimes I cant tell if the stares Im receiving are people wondering if Im a hooker, hobo, or if they like my look? I guess I’ll never know, but, personally I enjoy the adventure.

What's inspiring me lately....
I do not claim any of these photos as my own. Some from facehunter, hermanasmiranda, style.com etc.

Random, I know!
